My sweet snuggler

I wanted to get this story down because I always want to remember how much Layla loves to snuggle with me before bed. It is by far one of my favorite parts of the day. She will lovingly stroke my cheek while drifting off or rest her cheek against mine and say "mommy, I love you so much" You can't beat that...last night while we were getting ready for bed, she proclaimed that she is offically afraid of the dark and i said that i didn't really like it either. While laying down she snuggled up to me and said "don't be scared mommy, Im here" and put her arms around my neck. Oh the love I have for my sweet girl.

Update

I have been very bad at updating about Layla's potty training. She has been completely using the potty for over a month!!! She is such a big girl, we are just so proud of her!


oh and side note...we did NOT take away the nuk at Lily's 1 year like I said we were going to...i guess that comes next, although i am not excited about it!

It's fun to be 1 year old!!

I can't believe that my sweet Lily is already one. In the blink of an eye, the whole year has passed. Happy Birthday to one hysterically funny toddler...you are gorgeous and funny and perfect in every way. I love you baby!!
