So Proud of my girl!

Today the four of us went out for lunch. While we were at lunch Layla told me that she had to go potty. We went into the bathroom and for the first time ever, she went potty in public!!! I was SO proud of her! She didn't have any accidents at the restuarnt and has been doing SO well.

Still Potty Training

Potty training update: Layla pooped on the potty 3 days in a row and then decided yesterday that she wanted to wear a diaper in the morning. I didn't fight it and put a diaper on her. Around 4pm she decided she wanted her diaper off and went on the potty for the rest of the night. So, although we had a slight set back yesterday morning, she seems back on track this morning...she got up took her diaper off and went on her potty. We will see where this goes!

Potty Training - Day 1

At 2 and a half, Layla seems ready to potty train...finally. So, on Saturday, Joe and I took her to Target and let her walk the candy aisle to pick what she wanted as a treat for going on the potty.

One kiss for pee, two for poop. She went ALL day with out a single accident. Peed on the potty 6 times and pooped once! Day one is a success!!! Im so proud!

Addictions

My family has a problem...

Layla, now closer to 3 then to 2 is getting a bit old for a nuk. Although it doesn't seem to bother me the way it bothers a lot of other people, i have decided that when Lily turns 1, it is time for all the nuks in this house to go. YIKES. Its going to be rough...so i would like to pay homage to Lily's but mostly Layla's LOVE of the nuk.

Oh Nuk, you will be missed. Good Bye old friend.

To say that Joe is outnumbered is an understatement. He loves it...and he knows it. If its any comfort, we do have two dogs...both male. Both stupid. Here we go, lets get blogging!
